Truer Things LLC ("we," "us," or "our") operates Tablewell at tablewell.app. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our Service.
We collect information you provide directly: your name, email address, and password when you create an account; family size, dietary preferences, budget, and cooking preferences during onboarding; meal ratings and feedback you provide; and payment information processed by Stripe (we do not store your full card details). We also collect usage data automatically, including pages visited, features used, and device/browser information through Vercel Analytics.
We use your information to provide and improve the Service, including generating personalized meal plans using AI; to process payments and manage your subscription; to send transactional emails such as account confirmation and password reset; to respond to support requests; and to analyze usage patterns to improve the product. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Meal plans are generated using Anthropic's Claude AI. Your family preferences and dietary notes are sent to Anthropic's API to generate meal suggestions. Please review Anthropic's privacy policy at anthropic.com/privacy. Payments are processed by Stripe. Authentication and database services are provided by Supabase. Analytics are provided by Vercel Analytics. Each of these services has their own privacy policy governing their use of data.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only with the third-party service providers necessary to operate the Service (Anthropic, Stripe, Supabase, Vercel, Resend) and only as necessary to provide their services. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights.
When you invite family members to your household, they will have access to your household's meal plans, grocery lists, recipe library, and ratings. All household members share the same data within the household.
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or financial compliance purposes.
We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), row-level security on our database, and secure authentication. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
The Service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at hello@tablewell.app.
You may access or update your personal information by logging into your account settings. To request a copy of your data, request deletion of your account and data, or exercise any other privacy rights, email us at hello@tablewell.app with the subject line "Data Request" and we will respond within 30 days. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account's billing portal. If you are a resident of California, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, request deletion, and opt out of sale (we do not sell personal data). If you are an EU/EEA resident, you have rights under GDPR including access, rectification, erasure, portability, and the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
We use essential cookies and local storage to maintain your login session. We use Vercel Analytics which may use cookies for anonymous usage tracking. We do not use advertising cookies or sell data to advertisers.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or by posting a notice on the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
